    In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power

    of girls together.  Girl Scouting help girls develop their full

    individual potential; provide the foundation for sound

    decision-making, and contribute to the improvement of

    society through their abilities, leadership skills, and

    cooperation with others.

     Girl Step Dancing

    Ages: 6 yrs to 14 yrs

    Wednesdays:  5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

 

    Step is a form of percussive dance in which the participant's

    entire body is used as an instrument to produce complex

    rythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken

    word, and hand claps.  Though stepping may be performed

    by an individual, it is generally performed by groups of three

    or more, often in arrangements that resemble military

    formations.

   Boston Kendo Kyokai Japanses Martial Arts

   Kendo, the Way of the Sword, is the Art of

   Japanese Fencing.  Kendo is one of the oldest and

   most-celebrated of the Japanese martial arts, and is held

   in high regard in Japan as an important cultural legacy.

 

   Kendo is a modern martial discipline that instills courtesy,

   humility, self-control, and fighting spirit through mentally

   intense and physically rigorous training.
