FALL - WINTER PROGRAM EXTENSIONS:

THANKSGIVING FRIDAY  &  CHRISTMAS EVE (daytime):

We are providing a full-day service for Friday, Nov. 27 and Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009.
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.   Cost is $40.00, and please bring your own lunch, and drink.
Snacks provided, Computer access, Games, Gym Programs, Cooking, Arts & Crafts.

WINTER-HOLIDAY SCHOOL RECESS WEEK:

For the 4 & 5 years age range... Monday Dec. 28 through Thursday Dec. 31, 2009.
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.   Cost is $150.00.
The spaces will be issued on a first-come basis and is expected to fill up fast.  Plan now.

CHILD CARE:

Smart from the Start, Tiny Tots, Kindergarten Programs are in-school-year offerings from September to June.

Programs fill well in advance of starting dates. Please contact the centers for openings, or waiting list options.

Fees are due weekly. 

Program space is limited in order to maintain state-mandated teacher-student ratios.

Some program changes may be taking place for programs in the 2010-2011 season.  Details Pending.

SMART FROM THE START
Available At Roslindale and Archdale

For children 0 to 5 years old and their parents.

The program is a family support and community engagement initiative that promotes WIC-eligible children entering school with cognitive, language, physical and social/emotional assets that facilitate school and life success.

Free daytime parenting classes and playgroups.

TINY TOTS PRESCHOOL
Available at Roslindale

Tiny Tots is an EEC-licensed program available to children ages 2.9 to 5 years old.

It runs from 8:00 AM to 12 NOON; Monday through Friday, September through June (specific beginning and ending dates announced).

Parents may choose 5 days (M-F), 3 days (M/W/F) or 2 Days (Tu/Th).

The curriculum is developed and implemented with attention to developmental standards and family involvement as well as the child’s individual needs.

The fee is $22 per day plus R.A.F.T Membership

KINDERGARTEN AFTER SCHOOL
Available at Roslindale and Archdale

An EEC-licensed program for children ages 4 and 5 years old (or Grades K1 and K2). 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, September (beginning date announced) through the last scheduled day of school in June.

Developmentally appropriate activities including arts programming and daily, structured physical activity.

Vouchers accepted and some scholarships available.

$86 weekly fee plus R.A.F.T. Membership.

A Full-time program is available during school vacation weeks and during the summer.

Vacation week fee is $136 per week plus R.A.F.T membership.
*(Vacation weeks for 2009-2010 are: Dec. 24-31, 2009 [Closed Christmas & New Years]; Feb 16-19, 2010 [Closed President's Day],  Apr. 20-23, 2010 [Closed Patriot's Day]).

Vouchers accepted and some scholarships are available.
 


Age appropriate settings are available in a common shared area.


AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Available at Roslindale and Archdale

EEC-licensed after school program for 6 to 12 year-olds.

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, September (beginning date announced) through last scheduled day of school in June.

Homework help and tutoring, arts programming, science club, computer lab, daily gym activities, swimming at the Flaherty Pool.

RAFT membership required plus an $86 weekly fee.

Full time program available during school vacation weeks and summer.

Vacation weeks, $136 per week plus RAFT membership .
