Rosetta Interpreters ceased to exist as a corporation in 2010. In 2006 it was a mashup of Ether and Ning with a google translation gadget which website owners could embed on their sites. The gadget was novel in that it offered on demand human as well as Google's machine translation service. The human translators were independent and organized in Ning's platform. Ning only fully supported their first platform for a short period after www.rosettainterpreters.com was built. Ning's changes stopped further development of the site.
