Megacon Convention Report

 Hi everyone and firstly thanks for visiting my page!!! I'm totally new to having a webpage that's all my own, so please excuse any typos or weirdness or awkwardness or just plain... suckiness. Hahaha. My only experience with having anything like a blog is my LJ, so this is new territory for me! Hopefully more than just my friends will enjoy this page though!!

Day 1: Preperations!

        I arrived a day early on Thursday March 6th to stay with some friends at the Howard Johnson just across the street from the convention hall. It was easy to find (though I almost took a wrong turn, oops!) but a car ran a red-light and my convention trip was almost over before it began! I swear the jerk came within three feet of slamming into the side of my car! BUT, he stopped in time, I slammed the breaks on, laid on the horn, and made it to the hotel, slightly miffed, but perfectly intact and healthy, thank god. Called my friends, got lead to the hotel room, (hahaha, carrying a suitcase weighing about 50 lbs up a flight of stairs is no fun, but much easier with two people, thank god for friends! ) and I chilled with fellow Floridians Demyx and Axel, and Candian friends Endejester and Man-Toy, till having to go to the airport to pick up Mer who flew down from Canada as well. We paged "Meringue" over the airport intercom, yes, we did. Once I convinced the guy on the phone that it was not a joke, haha. Drove back, chilled some more, then Axel, Demyx, and Mer went back out to pick up Grey (also flying down from Canada) who flew in late that night around 11pm. Ende, Man-Toy and I finished cutting out and laminating some badges that our group was going to sell at Artist's Alley, then promptly crashed asleep before Dem, Axel and Grey got back (Grey's flight was unfortunately delayed.)
