Disc golf is played in in a similar fashion as ball golf.  Yes, we call that game that tigers and sharks play "ball golf".   Instead of a ball, we use discs (frisbees).  There are tees that you drive from but instead of a hole in the ground at the finish, we use baskets.  Here is a basket that I made. Please note that there are commercially made baskets that are used on real courses.  This basket was just a cheap way to have a putting green in my back yard.

The Onslow Flying Disc Association (OFDA) presented the 2010 US Womens Disc Golf Championship in Sept of 2010.  I was honored to be involved.  Photos from the event can be found HERE.

I hosted the 2010 Ace Race at the Northeast Creek Disc Golf Course in Northeast Creek Park, Jacksonville, NC on August 1, 2010.  Please visit our WEBSITE for more information.

The next picture is of Nate Doss (2005 World Champion) missing a putt on the 18th hole at Lake Olmstead Disc Golf Course in Augusta, GA.

Please also check the two pictures of drives on my photography page.

Unfortunately, disc golf is not as big in Arkansas as it is in some other areas.  But, there are two courses at Burns Park in North Little Rock.  They are not the best courses, but they are something.  Here are some maps that I created of the Burns Park Disc Golf Courses.
