As mentioned in the bio, Ike's brother, Eric Diogu, was the starting Tight End on the 1998 Tennessee Volunteers National Championship team (He is #82, right above #10)

In his family's native Nigerian language, Diogu's name means "God's Son", and "God's Strengh".

In 3 seasons at ASU, Diogu and the Sun Devils were 0-6 against the Arizona State's main rival, Arizona Wildcats

In 2005, the Golden State Warriors drafted Diogu with the 9th pick in the 1st Round of the NBA Draft. In 2006, the Warriors again had the 9th pick, and used it to pick Center Patrick O'Bryant out of Bradley University...(Niether Diogu and O'Bryant are with the Warriors anymore)

Call it bad luck or a bad twist of fate, during his 4 year NBA career, Diogu has played on the same team as 2 former Arizona Wildcats (Jared Bayless and Channing Frye), but has never played with a former Arizona State Sun Devil.
