 Our bed and breakfast / homestay is just the place for you.  We enjoy sharing our renovated villa with visitors - you get all the comforts of home at an affordable price. Breakfast is available in the morning ($5 per person if you choose) to set you off on your day with lots of energy.

 We have two rooms available for guests, catering for single travellers, couples or family groups.

 For those passing through Wellington via the Picton ferries we're only a 20 minute drive from the Wellington terminals or just over 30 minutes to the airport. 

If you are coming for competitions or block courses and need to stay for several nights - do ask for a quote as you will be pleasantly surprised.

 If you are in the region for pleasure, Lower Hutt is very central to all that Greater Wellington has to offer.  Just a short 20 minute car or train trip into town.  Better still. leave your car parked off street, enjoy a flat 7 minute walk to the station and arrive right in Wellington City on the concourse of the Westpac Stadium.  Or stroll along the waterfront to Queens Wharf, TSB Events Centre the Boat Sheds and Te Papa, or go shopping along Lambton Quay and the 'golden mile' of shops.  Visits to local harbourside beaches, or further afield on the Kapiti Coast, or over the hill to the vineyards in the Wairarapa are all short day trips from Lower Hutt.

We are central to the Hutt area, the Dowse Art Gallery, Town and Horticultural Halls, Hutt & Boulcott Hospital, Premier Hairdressing College, Weltec and the Open Polytech, the Huia Pool and riverbank walks. Even though the Glass & Glazing Institute has moved to Plimmerton we are still conveniently located near the train station - give us a call and chat with us.

Your host Annette has lived in the Hutt Valley most of her adult life and can advise on things to see and do.  I am an  experienced grandparent and happy to babysit by arrangement to allow parents some time out by themselves.
