Last year we decided to set up seed-sharing scheme, as many members find that a packet of seed produces far more plants than they can use, and many of the seeds collected from their own plants never get planted. We have brought seeds to members' meetings, and many members have taken advantage of this, so now we have more plants than we can use ourselves, and we are passing those around. We shall be publishing details of the plants that we have in profusion, and the seeds we are gathering. We also list the plants that members have requested, or are needed for the community gardens, so that if you have them, let us know. We don't need to stop there, plant pots, gardening magazines and garden tools that are only occasionally needed, can all be shared. Please email the club with details of what you have, or bring them along to the next meeting. Back to Home |
