This site is an archive intended to inform you of the negative
impacts for widening the residential area of Rolling Road from 2 lanes
into 4 lanes between Old Keene Mill Road and the Fairfax County
Parkway. This site also provides letter templates and information on
how to contact your locally elected officials. These arguments were
compiled from residents of the Civic Association of West Springfield
Village (CAWSV), www.westspringfieldvillage.org. The pictures below offer a close up view of Rolling Road. This portion of
Rolling Road is unique and cannot be associated with the
justifications, results, or consequences of other widening projects.
Creating a 4 lane road will direct more traffic into this residential
area and jeopardize the safety of residents, pedestrians, and drivers.    |
