Who we are

Clifford Rogers was born to committed Christian parents in Wallington, in the county of Surrey, England. As a teenager, he discovered that the faith of his godly parents was an insufficient base for his own spiritual journey; he needed to make his own life decision to accept or ignore Jesus’ offer of ultimacy. He made this conversion decision at the age of 18, in May 1947, and never looked back. 

At the age of 18, he confessed his need for salvation and the Lord heard his cry and very graciously saved him in May 1947.

In 2000, he suffered from a very aggressive form of thyroid cancer. After it was removed and following a long period of recuperation he returned to work for another 4 years, retiring in July 2005 after 60 full years in the field of Mechanical Engineering in England and then in Canada.

After an extended battle with illness Cliff passed away in September 2008 to be with his Lord and Saviour. He is survived by his widow, Margery and their 5 adult children, 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  He attended Pine Grove Bible Church in Ottawa for many years.

Both the biographies and the “Towards spiritual maturity” (TSM) material which is provided on this web site has been prayerfully put together over the last few years to help the people of God in their walk with the Lord, and are hereby made available freely as a result of many years as a Bible preacher and teacher and are sent out with the prayer that in some way they may be a blessing to the reader.
