REAP (Rogersville Eating Amazing Produce) is a grant in conjunction with the Fordland Clinic and focuses on getting children and the community interested in planting vegetables and healthier eating.
The old greenhouse behind the LR Middle School has already been refurbished, and I'm sure volunteers would be welcomed! Emma Alexander (818-2743) is the coordinator for the Rogersville portion of the gardening grant and is doing a GREAT job! Please let her know if you want to be a part!!

   The photos below are from a May 4 program by the LRHS liason, Haley. Haley's educational program with the LR 2nd grade included reading a garden-themed book to each class and helping each student plant a pumpkin seed. The students were each sent home with 5 seed packets, courtesy of the REAP project:
