Here we are on a windy day in Armenia. What you can't see in the background, but I promise you it's there beyond the mist, is Mount Ararat. We're sitting on the wall of the ancient monastery at Khor Virap, right on the Turkish border. The monastery is built over the deep pit where St Gregory the Illuminator spent thirteen years in the third century AD. I've been in that pit, and it's not nice, even with a light and a ladder.
Being a missionary to the former communist world gets you to some amazing places, and you hear some amazing stories. The problem is that the worst of these stories are from just a few years ago when life was crushed out of individuals, families and whole nations by something that was much more than just a system of government - it was a religion, the false religion of communism. It is a fact conveniently misunderstood or forgotten by the west that this false religion has not died and that countless millions are still suffering from its effects. Our mission is to bring healing to these millions by teaching local churches how to bring healing for their own people on a daily basis. They do not have to wait for some "healer" to ride out of the west with a big budget and loudspeakers to match. Look through these pages and see how the Kingdom of God is touching people's lives and bringing them out of the pit. ... and if you want to know what we will be doing this year, click Our Calendar. ... and if you just want to say hello, click on Contact us!
