ELASTICIDAD Y RESISTENCIA: La fibra de la alpaca y la vicuña tienen muy buena elasticidad y resistencia, siendo posible compararlas con la de la lana y otras fibras animales.
PROPIEDAD HIGROSCOPICA: La absorción de la humedad ambiental es baja.
PROPIEDAD TERMICA:
La estructura de la fibra de la alpaca y la vicuña hacen que se
comporten como un aislante, siendo posible utilizarlas en diferentes
condiciones climáticas.
NO INFLAMABILIDAD: La fibra no combustiona si no está en contacto directo con el fuego.
AFIELTRAMIENTO:
La fibra de alpaca y la vicuña tienen una menor tendencia al
afieltramiento, si es que la comparamos con la lana y otras fibras
animales.
SUAVIDAD (MANO): La estructura de la fibra de alpaca y vicuña, la hacen muy suave al tacto, pudiéndose comparar con una lana de 3 a 4 micrones más fina.
TEXTURA VISUAL: Especialmente
para abrigos (de pelo), la tela tiene una excelente caída, apariencia,
brillo natural y tacto, manteniéndose inalterable a través del tiempo.

ELASTICITY AND RESISTANCE: The alpaca and vicuña fibre are very elastic and resistant, same as wool and other animal fibres.
HIGROSCOPIC PROPERTY:The absorption of moisture from the environment is low.
THERMIC PROPERTY: The structure of these fibres act like a thermal insulation, making them suitables for different weather conditions.
NOT FLAMMABLE: These fibres are not combustive if not on contact with fire.
FELT-LIKE: The alpaca and vicuña fibres don´t felt up with time or washing.
SOFTNESS (HAND): These fibres are very smooth to the touch, and delicate as a 3 or 4 microns wool or even thinner.
VISUAL TEXTURE:
Especially in coats, this fabric hangs very good, it also has a great
appearence and natural sheen, being unalterable with the pass of time.
