Travel Information

We would like to remind you that non-EU citizens will be needing a visa for Greece. And you may get Turkish visa at the airports or at the borders.

This TSU starts in Izmir and finishes in Rhodes.

Flights to Izmir:
There are flights via Condor from Germany, Austria, Sweden, Holland, France or via Thomsonfly from UK or via Thomascook from Belgium, or via Sunexpress from Germany, Holland or via Pegasus from Italy, Germany.
You can also come Izmir via Istanbul by Turkish Airlines or Pegasus or OnurAir or Atlasjet, and by Buses which costs cheap.

Flying from : Rhodes
Diagoras airport (code RHO) is the only one based in Rhodes island. It is located 16km away of the town of Rhodes, which is approximately 20 minutes. You can reach it by bus (from central bus station) which costs 3euros (every 15 min.) , or by cab which costs from 15 to 20 Euros (Rhodes International Airport “Diagoras” 00302241088700 )
The airport serves both internal and international flights. So, you can either fly to Athens and then to your destination or directly with charter flights to your destination.

Boat from Rhodes to Peiraias (Athens port):
Rhodes Port is located in the center of the city and you can reach it by feet, bus or taxi. There are 2 companies that connect Rhodes with Peiraias.
