![]() The Memory Lane Junior is a digital evolution of our original Memory Lane concept, the world's first analog delay with tap tempo. By utilizing the same variable sample rate concept used in analog bucket brigade modulation, and adding custom analog anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters and companding, we've captured the ethereal essence of the Memory Lane ... in a much smaller footprint, with over twice the delay time, an extended frequency response, and standard 9V powering. The the MLJr digital sampling engine's sole function is to copy, delay and reproduce the delay path signal with no mathematical manipulation at all - and unlike standard digital designs, there are no digital anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters. All signal paths around the sampling engine (direct path, feedback path and everything before and afterthe digital sampler) are analog paths carefully designed to provide a unique sonic signature that is unmistakably the Memory Lane Jr. Oh my god I love the MLjr. Just the best delay pedal I have ever owned http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=912799 The modulation is fantastic, and it can still be sent into warbly oscillation with the mod and feedback knobs all the way up. http://en.audiofanzine.com/guitar-delay-echo-phrase-sampler/diamond-pedals/memory-lane-jr/user_reviews/r.18911.html I have gone through countless delays and this might be my favorite for ease of use and sound quality. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=891431 Simple, beautiful sounding, and without excessive frills. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=866295 Memory Lane Jr特色功能: - 使用專業音響等級的電子元件 - 最長1200毫秒(1.2秒) delay time - Tap Tempo功能,可用於 1/4 note, dotted 8th and 8th note triplet subdivisions - 可調整的波形 - 標準9V變壓器 - 可選擇TRUE-BYPASS或緩衝DELAY模式 - 強大的 "sample-delay-play" 處理電路 - 雙色LED燈用於顯示節拍及DELAY時間 Listen to some samples of the Memory Lane Jr recorded by our pal Jamie Robinson- With the exception of our 'store and forward' digital sampling engine that simply delays the sampled signal, the MLJR's companding, filtering, mixing and dry signal paths are all analog.
Here's a short Quicktime video of an amazing slide player we met at NAMM 2011 (and our bad - we can't find his contact info - if you're watching this, let us know so we can get it onto our site!). Signal path: Lap steel into a Diamond Comp into a MK3 Drive into a MLJR into a Fender '57 Twin handwired reissue. Download NAMM 2011 clip 1 (Quicktime video w/ 128 kbps AAC audio: 7 MB file)
Here's another Quicktime clip from NAMM 2011, this time with our friend Mark Goldenberg playing a '52 Tele reissue into a Marquis boost, followed by our 'mystery drive', followed by a MLJR into a Fender '57 Twin handwired reissue.
