Rock of Ages Lighthouse Preservation Society   Mission Statement: To establish, support and promote efforts in the preservation and restoration of the Rock of Ages Lighthouse. To achieve the safe keeping of the building, artifacts, and records of the Rock of Ages Lighthouse. To educate and inform the public on the history of the Lighthouse so that its history may be accurately interpreted and preserved for all present and future generations. Rock of Ages Lighthouse Preservation Society is an all volunteer organization, formed to restore this Lighthouse as a monument to the skilled craftsmen who built it, and for all those who were stationed there. It is for their dedication and sacrifice, to build and maintain this beacon on the open waters of Lake Superior, that we must now work to save this Lighthouse for all future generations, before it is lost forever. Rock of Ages Lighthouse Preservation Society is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt non-profit. Donations, gifts, and membership dues to the society are tax deductible. |
