...to close out the Fall '09 season. In Game 1 the ROCK handily defeated the Harleysville Thunderbirds 4-0. In Game 2, The ROCK and Top Gun GOLD played to a 3-3 tie going into the last inning, when Annie Marcopolus singled, stole two bases and scored the go-ahead run on a wild throw to third. The ROCK then sealed the victory when Alex Carisone, Emily Cottrell and Mary Kociencki added consecutive home runs for a 5-run inning and an 8-3 win.

The ROCK 18 Elite closed out the 2009 summer season with a perfect 5-0 record at the Team Long Island GOLD Summer College Showcase at Hofstra University, Long Island, NY. That record included two dramatic come-from-behind wins featuring walk-off RBI hits by the ROCK Elite.
The ROCK defeated the Connecticut Eliminators Red, Team Long Island GOLD, Connecticut Panthers GOLD, Hudson Valley Express & TNT GOLD.

...for the CSE Leadoff Showcase Feb 27-Mar 1, 2009. The team will face competition from Georgia, Virginia and Pennsylvania. There will also be free tickets to watch some of the best college teams playing in the NFCA Leadoff Classic. The team is flying out of Philadelphia Airport on Thursday Feb 26th in the evening and returning to Philadelphia Sunday March 1st. |

- Newtown Rock 18 Elite finished their Fall 2008 schedule by going undefeated at the TNT 2008 Last Look Fall Showcase. The Rock defeated the Sellersville Bells, Hudson Valley Express, New Jersey Intensity Gold and the Jersey Girls Gold.
