English class encouraged me to think about the books and articles I read and connect them to what I see everyday. As the assignments demonstrate, we did plenty of learning in social justice since it is really relative to the way the certain things attempt to oppress us.
History class was the most stimulating class in critical thinking. We looked at countless patterns in society, current events, and in the relationship between socioeconomic backgrounds and quality of life. The work samples provided here are but a small taste of what we really went over.
I think the science classes were the more purely academic classes. The assignments demonstrate critical thinking, but they fail to show the discussions we often had in physics class to relate what we were learning with everyday phenomenas or the environmental discussions we had in Chemistry class relating the curriculum to the pollution in the world.
