Background
Played my first paid gig at age 15. Thousands of gigs (and a good bit of recording) over the decades since. As a young musician, I focused exclusively on originals, mainly jazz-rock. Achieved local success in the Philadelphia PA area, but never got the chance to take it national.
I now mainly play classic-rock covers (that’s where the gigs are), but I'm open to everything. Extensive experience playing country, rock, pop, r&b, blues, jazz, fusion, etc. Genre doesn't matter to me. Musicianship and soul matter.
My bass playing philosophy is "less is more". I strive to deliver a clear low-end pulse that drives the overall sound. Making that happen is satisfying beyond words.
