As you go through each lesson, you are allowed to take lessons as far as you want your students to go. If you rush through you may not be helping the students make good connections to math and science experiences. I strongly suggest to review the material, think about how many ways the topics could be approached, map everything out in a timeline, then start teaching. Good foundations from this site will give your students enough to survive on to start doing adaption and application (Quadrant D).
