My name is Hendricus Robijn. On this website you can find the applications I made in my free time. If you like the work I put into it, please consider making a small donation.
Today I got my chance to test TV Row on Snow Leopard (10a380) and it works like a gem. For those who are thinking of installing the WWDC version (10a380), make a backup of your disk. Personally I recomend Carbon Copy Cloner. When you install Snow Leopard over your precious 10.5 install it may screw up your permissions and maybe more. Atleast I wasn't able to get it bootable without a kernel panic, when I installed it over an existing system. A clean install works like a charm.
So to wrap things up TV Row is Snow Leopard ready.
I am resurrecting the old version of TV Row to work with XBMC. XBMC Launcher will launch XBMC on your second display. The old version of TV Row was build on cscreen. Which means that XBMC Launcher (mac) will switch your primary display to your second screen. After you quit XBMC, XBMC Launcher will switch your primary display back to your main screen.
Because of the limits of cscreen, XBMC Launcher will not have any bells or whistles. Just a simple Applescript that does it's job.
Currently it is in beta testing. So stay posted for more news ;)

After releasing TV Row 2.0.0 many people grabbed a copy of it. I am glad to see this little application is useful to many people. At first I took on developing TV Row 2 as a challenge to see how XCode worked (Applescript Studio), as a n00b in coding I never touched XCode and it's tools. I am pushing it one step further in the next release ;) TV Row 2.0.0 is only available in English.
The next release will have localizations in:
French (by yann ricquebourg)
Dutch (by me)
English (by me)
Swedish (by Max Persson)
Spanish (by Anonymous)
Other changes:
TV Row 2.0.1 will also have a minor bug fix regarding the HD/SD setting
Minor GUI fixes related to localization
Front Row can be started by TV Row after setting the preferences
No need for an installer anymore. Unix executable is bundled inside the Application
