HD Travel was set up one afternooon in 2004 from an island beach bar on koh Tao, Thailand. The connection speed was so slow in those days, it was easily possible to have a beer in between page changes.Had such a great time that year travelling through Asia but especially Thailand. So I set up this travel info and freelance travel writing site......

This site was set up on the old 'googlepages' and was my first attempt at a webpage back in the day when I considered backpacking traveller as my main occupation. I added some basic travel essential info and friends sent me some humourous stuff, which I've left up here, hope you enjoy.
