Dr. Brehm has been associated with over one billion dollars of construction including civic centers, correctional institutions, educational facilities, entertainment venues and government and commercial projects spanning over thirty-five years of construction activity. Professor Brehm has served as a surety consultant in private practice developing turnaround strategies for trouble projects and authored several articles on claims avoidance and project scheduling while providing expert testimony on engineering and construction practices in both Federal and State courts.
