AASO Roadshark Cycling begins Saturday April the 16th 2011. We are treating cycling as a two part training program so we can ride all summer. The first part of this year's season will be dominated by club riding for fun and fitness with some riding events included. The second part of the season will be dedicated to the SOMD Mid-Fall Classic Cycling Competition which will be held in Emittsburg in October. Practice for this competition will begin in late July.

All practices will meet at the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail Park located at 51 West Earleigh Heights Road, Severna Park, MD 21146-1118. Rides and practices will usually begin at 9:00 and go until 11:00AM each Saturday.

We will try and participate in at least two time trial events and a century ride during the season.

For those athletes and coaches who are interested we hope to participate in an organized group ride at St. Michaels in the early fall and a cyclocross event in November.

It is very important to have as many coaches as possible for cycling. Please consider helping our athletes and consider coming out and ride with our program this year.
