Parent Teacher Organization
The Roosevelt IB Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting parents, teachers, students, and staff at Roosevelt Middle School. One of the benefits of having a PTO is the organization reflects the values of Roosevelt and all decisions are made by the Board and Roosevelt school community. Any funds we raise stay at Roosevelt for the benefit of our students and school. We hold a number of activities, celebrations, and fundraisers throughout the school year. We look forward to your participation.
Our PTO meetings typically are held on the 1st or 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:15 p.m. in the library right after Coffee with Carmen, Roosevelt's monthly meeting with Principal Dr. Carmen Garcia. We hope you can join us.
The Board Officers for the 2008 – 2009 school year are:
- President – Anne Steinberger, parent of 7th grader
- Vice President – Luis Gonzalez, parent of 7th grader
- Secretary – Melliza Taipe, parent of 7th grader
- Treasurer – Christina McClain, parent of 7th grader
