Students in their third or fourth years of medical school are welcome to spend a month at Riverside completing a family medicine or other specialty rotation. Students have found this to be an excellent way to become acquainted with the family medicine residency program, its residents, and Riverside. Fourth year medical school students are welcome for a four to six week rotation. During this rotation, students are exposed to outpatient medicine including the many community clinics the program covers. Students will participate in the Deleware County Women's Health Clinic, Whetstone Nursing Home, United Methodist Children's Home Community Clinics, and care of office patients at the Family Practice Center. Students are always welcome to join our in-patient team for a feel of our service dynamics.
