We are a 6-6-6 program, offering positions to qualified MD and DO graduates. We have a reputation for educational excellence. We have had 100 % board pass rate for over 20 years. Our residents are top graduates from a variety of medical schools. Our faculty is actively involved in academic pursuits, including clinical research, journal publication and presentations at National meetings.In addition to our residency program, we also have two Fellowships. The Sports Medicine Fellowship takes two fellows each year
for a one year fellowship. The Geriatrics Fellowship takes two fellows each year for a one year fellowship as well. Our Family Medicine Center is located next to the Riverside Methodist Hospital. This is convenient for patient care both ambulatory and inpatient, educational conferences and keeping in contact with fellow residents. We have a state of the art facility that is equipped with an electronic medical record for the past 5 years. We have on site radiology, a treadmill for stress tests, ultrasound technology, a colposcope and a LEEP machine. We also have access to the Center for Medical Education and Innovation. This facility was one of the first in the nation to incorporate simulation into the curriculum of all the residencies. The Family Medicine Residency has an 18 month longitudinal simulation curriculum.
