RadheKrishna Trope - An Establishment

on the occasions of Republic Day 26 January 1998 - 50 years of Indian independence, The historic parade held at Rajpath of New Delhi.India demonstrate its Culture heritage here in the presidential presence of that times Prime Minister Mr. I K Gujaral & Chief Guest for the Occasiion Presidant of Franse. West Zone Culture Centere was representing the Culture heritage of Western India, regarding this the representing Artist were from rajkot - Gujarat. 200 Artist were perform there our Rass - Garba in its original style and attract the all world who watching our celebration. Since that time leading Artist of that team Mr. Mayur Tank & Kajal Mori Tank's Vast experience of 10 years in Gujarati Folk dance, commence the Folk dance group named 'RadheKrishna Troupe'. shortly RKTroupe.

Our Activities/Objectives

RKTroupe is working for the conservation of Traditional Folkdance of Saurashtra - Gujarat, mainly the 'Rass - Garba', 'Dandiya - Rass' and several other rural dance forms by presenting its in original style in various shows and programme held in other part of Gujarat. The second object of movement is to keep away society by the disco-dandiya culture which spoiling our traditional heritage. By the various cultural related activities we are aiming to be helpful hand anyhow for society.


Our Artist

Some of famous Rass - Garba player of the City are in the Troupe, In the Direction of Mayur Tank, At present 40 to 50 ladies/gents artist & member are active in the organization as different role. each & every Artist of Troupe is enough capable to perform all the form of Rass - Garba & other cultural presentations. some of famous Artist of all over India are associated directly or indirectly with Troupe.

Hindi and Gujarati Movie song based on Dandiya rhythm is also one part of our performance.

Regional Dances

We are also performing several other culture presentations like Rajasthani 'Ghoomer' and 'Kalbeliya Nritya', Punjabi 'Bhangda' And 'Gidda', Chatishgadhi Aadivasi nritya, Maharashtra's 'Lavni' Assames 'Bihu', Uttaranchals 'Gadhwali' Ngalands 'Febufeta' etc. These Dances we perform by the help of their original Artist.

Classical & Western Dance

Some our Artist are performing several Indian Classical & Western Dances like BharatNatyam, Oddisii, Kuchipudi, Manipuri & etc.

Theatre

By the having chance to understand and experience Dramas & Plays, RKTroupe is also trying to perform Dramas, Belet, Humourous Plays, Street Plays & several other Theatre performances. The first ever Drama of Troupe is 'Aathamto Suraj' .
