It tells me that you never know who you really are. I have said that I am a philosopher, poet, and pagan. However, none of these truly tell you who I am and I do not believe that there are any words that will ever be able to describe me. I am myself, this phrase comes close but it won't help anyone understand me. It will, however, make them understand that I feel no shame for what I do and that I never pretend to be what I am not(except when acting.) This is because I take pride in being me, something no one else can do. Some say that your family history is what makes a person who they are but that is only true when all of who one is comes from family. There is no one big idea that defines what or who a person is. If anything a person's identity comes from everything that they have touched and that has touched them. |
