The
Riverside house sits right under
the Castle in the centre of Krumlov's Old
town, a historic house dating back to the 13th
century, with perhaps the best views in Cesky Krumlov. The apartment is self-contained, but as we are not a pension or a hotel, you will be the only guests, with all the peace and privilege this position offers. The guest apartment (68m2) on the ground floor includes the use of our sheltered riverside garden with dining/grilling facilities and swimming on the doorstep. The apartment has an uncluttered feel with lots of space, and consists of two vaulted rooms with floor heating, own kitchen and own bathroom. The larger room has an open fireplace and a sofa bed for 2 (+possibility of an extra bed), the smaller room can sleep 2 people in single beds and even offers a piano for those who are musically inclined.
The house
has a homely, art-filled atmosphere, but its period
feel belies its up-to-date infrastructure. Moreover, you'll
have free access to internet, own washing machine, a library of
books in English, a DVD player with many films to chose from – and
of course our own friendly help in case you want or need it. We live on the first
floor, so we are at hand most of the time. We know the area very well and can advise about walks and trips, book events, sports, taxis and so on.
