The River Hill Hawks (12 - 3, 10 -2) came out of the mid-term break with a strong opening quarter and took control of the game early Wednesday night to defeat the Long Reach Lightning 53 - 43..

The outstanding performance by the team started with a hot shooting first quarter and helped the Hawks open up a 27 - 16 halftime lead. The Hawks used a balanced scoring attack in the second half to defeat the Lightning 53 - 43.

The Hawks season continues with another home game this Friday night , Jan 29 against Marriotts Ridge.  Game time on 1/29 is 7:00 at River Hill.
