Wanted to keep Norcal Racers updated on the new track in Marysville. It's called RiverFront RC (Name pending) and it is located in the River Front MX park. It will be ran by Norcal's Own Phillip Atondo. This will be one best track in Northern California. Check back for current photos and updates. Driver's stand completed. Phillip brought in a full size truck container and had a metal fab worker make hand rails and a ramp to the top. The work done on this container is top notch. The container was placed on a plateau above the track so you get a great veiw of the entire track.
03-02-08 Today Phillip and I broke ground on the pit lane. This pit lane is going to be sweet. When its done a racer will have to drive up the plateau into pit line get fueled up and race back down onto the track.
This is me telling Phillip what to do with my eyes closed. We battled the high winds all day and still we were able to get all the post up for one side the pit lane.
A long hard day of work and Phillip still has a smile on his face.

Saturday 03-15-08: Work continues on the pitlane walls. This time out Phillip and I had Jason Moberly helping us. Now that we had an extra hand we were able to get alot done in a short amount of time. The second wall's post went up super fast.

Week of 04-07-08: work is being done on getting water and power out to the track. We have a first track design. Subject to some changes.
04-17-08 Phillip and I run some piping for the water. The track will have a water source on both ends of the track. After the pipe was set Phillip started to grade the track with the loader. 04-20-08 Track layout begins. Today set out to get an idea of the track's layout. We started by marking the outer boarders with stakes and pink ribbon. Then we marked the tracks lanes with chalk and paint.
05-03-08 track is taking shape.
Almost done!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 05-11-08 today we finished most of the pipe laying and packing. Just a few more things to finish and then we are racing. btw, Phillip and I practice on the track. The track flows very well and the triple is not as hard as it looks. I can't wait!!!!!
07-31-08: The track now has power. HIGH VOLTAGE!!!!
Also the heatsheet billboard is up.
08-10-08 Well we finally got water. There is a faucet on both ends of the track.
