"I was always surrounded by music. My father owned a musical instrument repair shop ever since I could remember. He first started in the garage and then moved out to a storefront in a surrounding city. I used to skip school and pretend I was sick just to hang out at his shop and play NES and mess with the instruments. I started playing bassoon at age thirteen but got tired of reading sheet music and moved on to bass guitar at about age 15. A friend and I found a keyboard in the dumpster at the fire station by my house and began to program ska and reggae tunes and play bass along with it while recording it on a tape deck we had at home. I began to play music with a local reggae group called Tribe-O around that time and for many years to come. With that same keyboard that I found, I started to try and program it with a demo of cakewalk I had but I got pissed because MIDI seemed too complicated to me at the ripe old age of 16. I then found out about a lot of software based music creation programs and I never looked back. I have been dumpster diving, thrift store shopping, sysex commanding, and nerding it up, looking for the next eventual step to my musical evolution for over 10 years now. I feel I have honed in on my own personal style."
