  • What's a reference source? A source that can help narrow or broaden your topic. Generally encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, etc. Many times they can point you in the direction of secondary or primary material which may be useful to you in your research. 
    • NOTE: Reference materials are located on the 3rd floor of the Potter Library and must remain in the Library while using them.
