My two CZ 452 rimfires, a Trainer and a Varmint. CZ 452 rimfires have got to be the best bang for the buck. Under $400 and got to be the best out of box accuracy that any manufacturer has to offer next to a Annie.
Here is a picture of my CZ Trainer in its modded stock. I took a original 10/22 stock that had been modded to a Anschultz style and modded it to fit my Trainer. CZ Trainer Here is a picture of my CZ 452 Varmint. CZ Varmint Here is where we'll get into mods to the CZ 452 rimfires. Trigger pull can be lightened by changing the spring to a lighter one. I used a old 10/22 bolt guide rod spring cut a little shorter than the original CZ spring. It takes a little trial and error to get the spring where you want it. If you use the original and shorten it cut a 1/4 of a coil at a time until you get it to the pull you want. Make sure each cut that it passes the drop test. It would be wise to leave the adjusting nut on so if you go a little to far you can add some pull weight back by the nut. 1-Bedding a CZ 452 Stock by cycbb486 Here's a pretty good how-to on bedding the CZ452 action. 2-Bedding a Savage MKII by lukeshoot What can I say a excellent bedding guide that can be used for any bolt action. It is the one I have used with success on two different CZ rifles and three stocks for them. 3-Adjustable sear mod by SwordBearer I've used this on both of my CZ 452's and love this simple mod. It takes the pre-travel out of the trigger. 4-CZ-Poor Man's trigger Mod by All4fun A very good trigger mod. You can do this one or the Adjustable sear mod. |
