Contact the Ridge High School Guidance Department for assistance with your application.  The 2012 deadline is March 5, 2012. Recipients are vetted by the Guidance Department, and selected by the Fund's alumni board.  Three main criteria have been established by Ridge AMS founders:

• One criterion is exceptional character in the face of adversity, demonstrated by determination, good works, sacrifice, team play, overcoming setbacks, and the ability to turn a negative into a positive. 
• A second criterion is evidence of significant personal growth and improvement while at Ridge High. 
• Finally, preference will be given to students for whom receipt of the scholarship award will make a difference in the student’s future, although it is not strictly a need-based award.
