Removing cookies

CCleaner makes clearing temporary Internet files, removing cookies, and general hard drive maintenance pretty easy.

The cookie removal function allows you to keep only the cookies you want. For example, you may want to keep cookies from sites that contain your user ID and password, such as Yahoo!, Google, and del.icio.us, so you don't have to reenter them after each clean up.

Here's how:

From the main CCleaner window, Click the "Options" button.

Click the "Cookies" button.

You will be presented with two windows, "Cookies to Delete" on the left and "Cookies to Keep" on the right, with right and left arrows between them.

Simply select any cookies from Google, Yahoo, icio.us, and other favorite sites, and move them to the right window. You may find several cookies for each site.

That's it! Click the "Cleaner" button to return to the main CCleaner window.

Click "Analyze" to see a list of cookies to be removed.

Click "Run Cleaner" to remove all the junk and save the good cookies.
