I should agree that, even though I had an experience of 6+ years in the IT industry working in UNIX around Forex Trading technology, this course was an eye-opener for me. The syllabus offered by Raj was awesome and I could not find any such syllabus covered even by giants like SUN, HP or any other training partners. By the end of the course I was completely having a different level of confidence which helped to boost my performance levels in my organization. Kim Seng Machinery Pte Ltd Testimony 4 My experience in attending Raj’s classes has been great. I took basic UNIX and Shell Script last year. What I could share is that not only Raj is good in teaching, he is also very knowledgeable in answering the questions in the class.
The questions that were asked varied from some theoretical questions to very hands-on issues that his students experienced.
On top of that, Raj has never been stingy in sharing his knowledge and experience in troubleshooting some real life issues he faced at work.
During the sessions I attended, another thing that impressed me was he can spend another hour or two extra explaining whatever questions his students have even if the questions were out of the Subject scope.
Better yet, there were some students emailed him some issues faced at work and he was willing to at least pinpoint out some tips for the solutions.
I am waiting for his Advanced UNIX class. The minute it is available, I am going to his Advanced UNIX class for sure.

I have attended the Unix scripting course in July 2010 which conducted by the instructor who is known as Raj. Raj is a very intelligent and fun loving instructor. His teaching method for this course is slightly informal which turned out to be very interesting and fun. On top of that, He is more than willing to share his knowledge and experience that he has gained from his working life. He has shown many eye-opening examples and helped me in writing scripts that matched with my working needs. I feel much more capable and confidence after attended the course and am able to propose a solution to my superior after 2 days of the course. How impressive! In short, I will not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone who has the interest to learn basic shell scripting. It provides a very good starting point to the beginner.
