Greetings from the Knight Commander

~~Welcome to the Knights of Saint Andrew website!~~

The Knights of St. Andrew formed in the Richmond Valley 4 ½  years ago and during that time we have provided support to the Scottish Rite Temple and Childhood Language Center.  Between our three clans, we have over 70 members who enjoy helping wherever and however we can.

As the 2012 Knight Commander of the Valley of Richmond Chapter it is my goal this year is to re-energize the membership of the three Clans from Charlottesville, Fredericksburg and the Richmond.   Our motto is “Service and Leadership”!  We are an Order of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite dedicated to serving the needs of the Valley.  We contribute our time and talent towards our primary benefactor, the Richmond Childhood Language Center. Our focus is also to develop Scottish Rite Masons into good leaders who are well educated through such programs as the Master Craftsman.

I want to reach out to other chapters to facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge between Valleys.  I believe we can learn many things from our sister Chapters as well as pass along the knowledge gained from our experiences here in Richmond.  There is an outstanding opportunity coming in March 2012 with the announcement or the first annual Knights of St. Andrew National Conference in Oklahoma.  I would like to send representatives to this conference as Ambassadors of the Richmond Valley.

Our Order is open to 32° Scottish Rite Masons who have a heart of stewardship and a will to develop further as a knowledgeable and strong leader.  If you believe you have the spark within you to join the Knights of St. Andrew please fill out a petition located on this site!  We are always looking for new members!
