May Day - Maypole dancing in the Market Place.

June - Country Dancing on Cathedral Green by children from around Somerset.  City tour will run at 11am.

July - Charity Boules Tournament in The Market Place. 

August Bank Holiday - The Moat Boat Race.  Local groups race homemade rafts along the moat for charity.  City tour will leave at 11am.

Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th September - Heritage Weekend in Wells.  Your chance to visit historical places that are not usually open to the public.

Thursday 13th September - Night on the Town www.nightonthetown.org  A wonderful evening of entertainment, late night shopping and street performances around our city.  Why not come down a little early and enjoy a city tour before things get too busy?  There will be an option of extending the tour at the end for an extra half an hour to take in the High St, The Priory of St John, City Arms which was once our jail, St Cuthberts church and the famous almshouses). 

October - Wells Festival of Literature.   Please see website for information and tickets www.wellslitfest.org.uk  There will be a city tour on Wednesday at 11am. Please book a place as numbers will be limited.

Friday 16th November - Carnival comes to Wells.  City tour available on Friday at 2pm.  Please book a place as numbers will be limited.

December - Reindeer Parade.
