Richard Carr is a violinist, composer and music educator who lives in
Rosendale, New York (a little under 2 hrs. north of New York City). He
holds a doctorate in music education from Columbia University. He has
recorded numerous albums under his own name.
Studied violin for four years
at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith.
Studied Composition with Donald
Martino, John Bavichhi, Peter Hazard, Alison Novak, and Jonathan Kramer.
