Using the site

There are three  ways to view the site;

in the Navigation box open the site map and then expand all in the hierarchy view.  This allows you to see all the individual descendants in tree form, allowing you to follow any thread you like.

At the top of each page the links show the descending line, while at the bottom of each page the links lead to the children of the individual you are viewing.

If you want to find an individual, it is better to use the Google Search Site engine at the top right.

THE HON. ESQUIRE GEORGE FIFE ANGAS  was born 01 May 1789 in Newcastle upon Tyne, and died 15 May 1879 in Lindsay House, Angaston, South Austrailia. 

He married ROSETTA FRENCH 18 Apr 1812 in Hutton, Essex, England.  She was born 15 Jan 1793 in Hutton, Essex, England, and died 11 Jan 1867 in Linsay Park, Angaston, South Austrailia.

Notes for THE HON. ESQUIRE GEORGE FIFE ANGAS:
One of the founders of Sunday Schools.  By 1816 the Sunday Schools of Tyneside a Union with George as secretary.  He afterwards went to South Australia in 1850 and became the Hon G F Angas of the Upper House and a member of the legislative Council.  He organised the South Australia Company, The Bank of South Australia and other companies.  His foresight was largely instrumental in winning New Zealand for Great Britian.
Had four daughters and three sons one of whom was John Howard Angas
