Using the site

There are three  ways to view the site;

in the Navigation box open the site map and then expand all in the hierarchy view.  This allows you to see all the individual descendants in tree form, allowing you to follow any thread you like.

At the top of each page the links show the descending line, while at the bottom of each page the links lead to the children of the individual you are viewing.

If you want to find an individual, it is better to use the Google Search Site engine at the top right.

Profile; Heather (Angus)

I have been researching the ANGUS/ANGAS family history since 1970. In the early days my aim was to contact descendents of the various branches which are on the tree compiled by the Rev. Pengilly in the 19 century and so with their input bring that tree up to date. This has brought me into contact with some lovely people, all generous with their help in providing the missing links. This year I was able to complete a link which I first started investigating 34 years ago.
Now with access to so many more records I have been able to add much more detail to the earlier generations and been able to exchange information with Angus descendents all over the world.
Inevitably there are differences of opinion, especially concerning the earlier generations, but family history would not be as interesting without these imponderables.
