The
Hawks (11-0, 28-6) defeated Long Reach 82 to -1 this afternoon. With
the win, River Hill locked up its seventh County Championships. The
Hawks will take the mats in the final home match of the regular season
this Thursday against Oakdale of Frederick County. Way to go Hawks! |

River
Hill clinched at least a share of the Howard County dual meet title
last night with a victory of visiting Wilde Lake, 45-25. The Hawks
(10-0, 27-6) have secured at least a share of the County title and can
win it out right with a victory next Tuesday at Long Reach. The Hawks
were powered by Lee Carter's 5-4 upset win at 120 lbs. and seven falls
to lock up River Hill's seventh County Championships. Way to go Hawks! |

River Hill won both
its Howard County matches tonight improving to 9-0 and 26-6 overall.
The Hawks blanked Howard in the opening match 73-0 and then defeated
host Reservoir 49-18. River Hill will return to action this Thursday at
home against Wilde Lake at 4 pm/5:30 pm. Way to go Hawks! |

River
Hill (7-0, 22-7) went 3-1 on the second day of the Cavalier Duals to
take home the third place trophy. The Hawks defeated Kennett (PA)
63-12, then took down Loyola for the second time this year, 39-35, were
defeated by #3 State ranked Georgetown Prep 42-27, but defeated Arundel
47-29 to take home the bronze. Way to go Hawks! |

Hill (7-0, 20-5) won all of its pool matches at the Cavalier Duals this
past Friday at Archbishop Spalding HS in Severn, MD. The Hawks
defeated Lackey of Charles County 60-8, then took down George Marshall
of VA 50-12, and finished off the evening with a win over
Hatboro-Horsham of PA 50-19. The Hawks will take on Loyola, Kennet
(PA), and Georgetown Prep tomorrow before being cross bracketed into
their placement match for their fourth and final match of the day.

River Hill (7-0,
17-5) won both matches in its Tri-Meet Tuesday night at Mt. Hebron High
School. The Hawks defeated Hammond 62-13 in the first bout of the
evening followed by a 61-16 victory over host Mt. Hebron. The Hawks
will travel to Anne Arundel County and the Cavalier Duals at Archbishop
Spalding this weekend. Way to go Hawks! |

Hill (5-0, 15-5) defeated defending 1A/2A State Champions Glenelg,
37-22, Tuesday night. The Hawks were led by Omar Messallam (182), Logan
Kirby (195), and Taariq Mohammed (113) who each registered a pin
against the visiting Gladiators. The Hawks will take to the mats next
Tuesday at Mt. Hebron with Hammond. Way to go Hawks! |

Hill (4-0, 14-5) competed at the McDonogh Holiday Duals just before
the New Year. The Hawks went 5-3 over the two day tournament earning
wins against Kellam (VA), Loyola, Washington (WV), Glenelg, and
Brentsville (VA). Jason Johnson (285) was the only undefeated wrestler
going 8-0 on Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow the Hawks will take to the
mats against defending 1A/2A State Champion Glenelg. Both teams are
undefeated in Howard County league matches. Good luck Hawks! |

River Hill
(4-0, 9-2) beat Fallston Thursday night, 51-19. The Hawks got pins by
Casey Guthier (152) and Jason Johnson (285). After the Holiday break,
the Hawks will travel to the McDonogh School in Reistertown for the
McDonogh Holiday Duals. Good luck Hawks! |

River Hill
(4-0, 8-2) continued its undefeated County ways last night by taking out
the Oakland Mills Scorpions 55-12. The Hawks only lost three matches
on the night and were lead by Taariq Mohammed, Christian Lee, Cory
Daniel, Logan Kirby, Jacob Benedict, and Jason Johnson all earning a
fall in their matches. The Varsity will be wrestling Fallston this
Thursday at Atholton at 4 pm. Good luck Hawks! |
