Senior Party Date - June 5th, 2010
The All-Night Senior Party has been a tradition at RHS since 1980! Parents of the seniors take pride in hosting this safe, drug and alcohol free event for the Class of 2010. The party is the evening of graduation and we hope to have the majority of the class attend!
Now is the time to start planning for this year’s All-Night Party for your graduating senior. The night promises to be a great time and guarantees something for everyone! Please take the time NOW to read through these brief, important notices about plans for the party.
Order a Senior Memories DVD
DVD will include the Class of 2010 Commencement, Senior Parent Skit and Senior Party Pictures. The cost is only $10!

We anticipate pick-up/delivery at the end of June. DECORATING COMMITTEE
URGENT NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS!! To all Senior Parents! WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are down to the last two weeks to finish the decorating projects for the party. Without additional volunteers we are at risk of not completing all the things that are planned. We want to make this a night our Seniors will remember! There is plenty of painting, stringing of ceiling ornaments, putting panels together, etc. to do. Nothing too labor intensive, just time consuming! We are offering an incentive for parent's to earn raffle tickets for their Senior(s) which can be used the night of the party to enter into several different drawings for prizes! Each night that a parent volunteers, 5 raffle tickets will be given to their designated Senior the night of the party. If you are able to help all five of the upcoming evenings you will earn 25 additional raffle tickets for your Senior! The Senior Party Decorating Committee has created an amazing décor for the senior party! Everyone is encouraged to help as much as you can as this is a huge project. You do not have to be artistic to help! Bring a friend and help the Decorating Committee in the RHS Student Center every Wednesday beginning April 7 through the first week in June, 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Contact Jeanne at ken_619@hotmail.com for more information. TICKETS Last Chance to purchase your Senior Party tickets during lunch will be April 22nd and 23rd. Ticket prices are $60. The price will increase the night of the party.
You may also purchase tickets by sending an email to shirleyandphil@cbburnet.com or by filling out the attached form and mailing it, along with your payment ($60 per ticket) to the Tickets/Sales Committee (address on the form).
In the email request, please include your Name and T-shirt size. You will receive a response directing you where to send the payment ($60 per ticket). Checks should be made payable to “Rosemount Senior Class Party”. Once the payment is received, you will get a confirmation email.
An official Class of 2010 All-Night Party T-shirt will also be ordered when you purchase a ticket. T-shirts will be distributed at graduation practice. Don’t wait until the last minute to buy your ticket as you may not get a t-shirt!

The RHS “Hall of Fame” is a highlight of the party! Here, seniors are recognized on a poster that is put together by their families. Posters should be created vertically on standard size white tag board (22”x28”). The name of the senior should be highlighted on the poster and the poster should be laminated prior to turning it in to the Communications/Marketing Committee. Also, each senior’s full name and phone number needs to be clearly printed on the back of the poster – this allows us to contact you if it gets left at the party.
Do you need Rosemount paper and RHS related activity accents to decorate your senior poster? Scrapbooks Too in Bloomington has a good selection of products and will also make items to order. They are located at 10518 France Avenue South, Bloomington. Their phone number is 952-884-0885.
Mail n Parcel is offering two Senior Poster Specials for RHS Seniors. They will laminate one 22”x28” poster for $5.99. Or one 22”x28” poster lamination plus eight 11”x17” color copies for $9.99. Mail n Parcel is located at 14050 Pilot Knob Road, Suite 140, Apple Valley, which is across from Scott Highlands and behind Walgreens. Their phone number is 952-423-7075. No flyer is needed, just mention Rosemount High School. This information should allow you to get a jumpstart on the poster.

Throwing a party of this size requires a great deal of time and money! The Fundraising Committee is hard at work to raise funds to ensure a successful party, with plenty of raffle prizes, food, and activities for all. But we could still use your help! How can you help? Request a donation from your workplace; make a personal donation; or let us know any other creative ideas you may have to help with the committee’s efforts. Donations come in many forms – money, food or drinks for the party, prizes for the raffles. See how you can help! Contact the fundraising or food committees with any questions.
HELPING OUT There are many other ways that you can get involved with the 2010 Senior Party. All of the committees are still recruiting volunteers! See the list of committees and contacts on the attached page to offer your help. No special talent is required! Volunteer and then come join us for this unforgettable night of fun!
