FAQ

Q:What are the system requirements ?

A: Rhizosphere is 100% web-based, and only uses standard technologies like HTML and Javascript. The whole bundle, including dependencies, is just slightly less than 100k of pure Javascript (as of July 2008). No Flash, no Java, no plugins, nothing. Just your web browser.

At the moment the currently supported browsers are:
  Safari Safari 4
Firefox 2  Firefox 3  Firefox 3.5 Chrome   Internet Explorer Opera 9.64  Opera 10
 Mac

 Windows

 Linux

Legend:  : tested and working. : not tested, but expected to work. : known to be broken.
Yeah, I know. At the moment Internet Explorer is not supported. But hey, Rhizosphere is still alpha quality and IE is the most non-compliant beast you could ever meet. Cut me some slack.

Q: Can I try it now ?

A: Sure. You can either go back to the homepage and click the Big Blue Button to try Rhizosphere as a standalone application, or follow the instructions in the Google Spreadsheet How-To to embed Rhizosphere in one of the sample spreadsheets ( or your ones ).

Q: I want to see more. Some screecasts ?

A: Sure. Check the Videos page.
