Look for Math anywhere you can find it. You will be amazed at all the places you can find math. For example:

-your world is full of angles. Look around you. Which ones are acute? Which are obtuse? Right? Straight?

-What shapes do you see?

-When do you use fractions?

-When do you use decimals?

-What percent tip did your parents leave when you went out to dinner?

-What percent sales tax do you pay?

-What percent discounts do you get on things at summer sales?

-What situations can you express using equations? 

Math is so much more fun when you find ways to use it in real life! Enjoy your math-filled summer; we are all looking forward to seeing you in the fall!
