Rev up with wordpress!

posted Sep 5, 2009 8:44 PM by Reynald Cacho   [ updated Sep 5, 2009 9:19 PM ]

Hi guys and gals,

In accessing my official website or the Reynald Cacho ESL class, you can start up with http://reyinteractive.wordpress.com   instead of the multiply site. It's final. I'm endorsing the wordpress.com as supplemental all-in-one learning site where all subject related or non-subject related activities will be posted.

Your special project will be linked to the my blogroll. So, if I were you start your own wordpress account and get connected even further.

Regards,

Reynald

Calling all LNCHS TEACHERS AND STUDENTS!

posted Jul 24, 2009 5:54 AM by Reynald Cacho   [ updated Jul 29, 2009 4:29 AM ]

Outdo and outsmart your Friendster, Facebook, or other networking accounts, explore the power of the internet, and connect to the WWW! http://ischoolscampblog.wordpress.com

Join the 10-day, all-expense-paid seminar workshop on webblogging and others!

With the success of the first Camp Blog, the iSchools Project
Management Office (PMO) is pleased to announce the opening of the
application period for Camp Blog 1B, Camp Blog 1B will happen on October 16-26, 2009.

To join, interested teachers and students of iSchools Project
recipient schools must answer all 4 essay questions found below:

1. Why should I be included in Camp Blog?
2. What are my experiences as a user of the web and other new media
technologies?
3. What subject do I excel in? What specific topics do I like best
about this subject?
4. What are my proposed strategies in maximizing the advantages of
blogging for
teaching (if teachers) | learning (for students)?

Please observe the following guidelines in preparing your answers

· There should be a separate answer for each of the 4 essay questions.
· Each of the four essays must be short and direct-to-the-point.
Ideally an answer must be less than 100 words long.
· The Camp Blog selection committee is more interested in the content
of your answers rather than the form. Please make all your answers
count.
· Previous participants of the first Camp Blog cannot participate in
Camp Blog 1B.

Please send your answers to the iSchool Lab Manager (Reynald M. Cacho) through his email rmcacho@gmail.com  on or before August 5, 2009.   Entries submitted ahead of time are entitled to free critiquing for improvement of works. All entries will be forwarded to the Camp Blog team for the final selection.

Submission of entry will give you a chance to join this once-in-a-lifetime experience for free; however, iSchool Campblog Team management reserves the right to decide and to inform the deserving and fortunate participants before the Camp Blog Ib.

Hi there people,

Due to bulk of users and emails, inviting  all my students to the online discussion may cause time and technical constraints, so instead of me inviting you as direct members or discussants, you have to personally apply for it. Gmail account is a must in this case. Nevertheless, if you already have received initial invitation in your non-gmail account, you may go on with it.  Simply click the discussion portal on the left or through the link. Go through the site first before directing to it. Aside other web features, all updates and online interactions will be channeled through the discussion portal.

EXTENSION OF REG DUE AND VERIFICATION

posted Jun 21, 2009 4:10 AM by Reynald Cacho

To give time for verification of accounts and other students to register, I am giving 2 days extension for that purpose. Offline talk will be done to clear the matters. Make sure to feed the correct and active email account address. Enjoy Googling.

Hey!

Sorry to alarm you all. Due to the need to organize the digital list for my respective students ahead of time, the registration period is moved in an earlier date.

Plus points will be given to students who will register on or before the due date.

Additional extra points will be given to students who will assist their respective classmates in the registration phase. Just give me a list of names and signatures of the classmates whom you helped.

Regards,

Teacher Rey
