About this website

This is a place of showing Rex Wu's self-study, course works, projects and original ideas in the image processing area.

I thank everyone who comes to this website. To some extend, I am too lazy to update my stuffs. To some extend, I am too busy to update my pages. Anyway, I at least update some title sheets, including the projects or the researches that I worked on in 2009-2010.

Do not be surprised that I worked on areas that seem to be very different. As a Ph.D student, I have to work on the course project, the research area that my adviser interested in, the research area that I want to play with, and the research area that the company pays me to do. You can be a very lucky one if all these interests have intersections. However, you can also like me and have to do all kinds of stuffs and try to satisfy every party to survive.

Do not be surprised that you cannot search any of my publications. Why? Because I did not publish anything yet and how can you find one? : )
However, sooner or later, I will have some unless I do not want to graduate. The other thing is I am the only full-time student that my adviser kept. Therefore, there is absolutely no teamwork and I have to do everything by myself.

I split this website into following parts:

2. Level Sets and Active Contours
3. Image inpainting
4. Non-isotropic diffusion (In construction)
