There is no need for a deck of CARDS. Cards are nice, but limited. Creative thinking skills are better. It uncovers DA'AT or DAATH [knowledge]. What most seekers are looking for, what they need, is to re-connect with their Genius / Gaurdian Angel / Daimon or as we prefer: our higher Mind. A phenomenological fact is that your senses have recorded your situation; that your brain has this data, so does it not follow that your brain/mind will communicate using fresh symbols? Another fact is that we do not think in our natural language e.g. English; that there is a mysterious mentalese or proprietary language of thought operating behind the scenes. There is also evidence of an executive function in the brain that manages consciousness. Our breakthrough is a right-mode (thinking) heuristic that allows one to tap into unconscious knowledge using an innate language skill that is forever getting lost. It gets lost because left-brain societies and outers religions suppress it, because of fear of the unconscious. This unconscious knowledge is already there in your head, streaming in the background, in your day-dreams, images, thoughts, things you dismiss as nonsense. We can now prove that none of it is nonsense; that all of it is information in just another format. More than that even, that it is information packaged in answer to our conscious queries. This is quite ironic given the computer/knowledge age we live in. Imagine tapping a universal MIND and a collective database as a counter-balance to the technological systems we have created, the Internet etc. The strange thing is that this right-brain language of symbols can be used by everyone, so one would think that it is safe to use. Well, maybe not so safe because of the potent forces at work in the unconscious, which is why religions and others try tell us what to think. There is a price, and it is the suffering that is part of any change process. The spiral path to wholeness requires a better navigational system than devices such as TAROT etc. Cognitive science includes other disciplines, and must include these devices, just as Jung did with I-ching and Active Imagination, with a view to improving on them. |
